Tobey Maguire has secured independent financing to expand his production company, Material Pictures. Richard Weinberg is investing in Material, which is adding Ben Tierney to its staff as VP of production.
Additionally, Anastasiya Kukhtareva has been upped to creative executive. Tierney and Kukhtareva will report to Material Pictures’ senior VP of production, Matthew Plouffe.
