The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is almost two months into production, and director Marc Webb hasn’t been shy about sharing teaser material on Twitter. We’ve already had a glimpse of Colm Feore in The Ravenscroft Institute, as well as an ambiguous image of a new mask that will be seen in the film, which was later confirmed by the above image to be part of Spider-Man’s new look.
Very little is currently known about the film’s plot, however, though there are an abundance of rumors going around, including the possibility that Norman Osborn will fall prey to the Venom symbiote and that Peter Parker has moved on to college. Aside from the villain reveals and the hints at a significant Ravenscroft setpiece, official plot details have been scant and it’s unclear whether The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be based on a particular arc from the comics, or whether it will be a collage of different stories.
