Yesterday, director Joseph Kosinski teased that Disney would be releasing some big news about the remake of its 1979 sci-fi film The Black Hole. Now, we know what he was talking about.
According to a new report, screenwriter Jon Spaihts has been hired to rewrite the film, picking up where screenwriter Travis Beachem left off. Previously, Spaihts wrote the Timur Bekmambetov-produced sci-fi film The Darkest Hour and the pseudo-Alien prequel Prometheus. Spaihts is also currently working on Len Wiseman’s reboot of The Mummy.
