Hong Kong Film Festival Launches Year-Round Repertory Program

The new "Cine Fan" program will feature tributes to Chris Marker and the Taviani brothers, and a master class conducted by Abbas Kiarostami.

The Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) has launched a new year-round monthly repertory program, HKIFF Cine Fan, showcasing restored classics, tributes to masters, genre films and other rarely seen cinematic gems.
Financed by government agency Create Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Film Development Fund, HKIFF Cine Fan is based at the agnès b. CINEMA at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. Hong Kong singer-songwriter Anthony Wong has been named as ambassador of the program.
